Description

A delicious, creamy appetizer that combines cream cheese, cheddar, and jalapeños for a tangy, spicy dip perfect for gatherings or movie nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of cream cheese
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup of diced green onions
  • 1/2 cup of diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  2. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, diced green onions, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
  3. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning as needed based on your preference for spice and saltiness.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least an hour to let the flavors meld together.
  5. Serve chilled with tortilla chips. Enjoy the creamy, spicy dip!

Notes

For a chunkier texture, reserve some jalapeños and green onions to fold in just before serving. Can be made a day in advance.
