Description

A simple and homey peach crisp full of summer flavor, featuring juicy peaches under a golden oat topping.


Ingredients

  • 6 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Toss gently to coat and spread in the prepared dish.
  3. In another bowl, mix together flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle the oat mixture over the peaches. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  5. Let cool for 10–15 minutes before serving warm with ice cream or yogurt.

Notes

Serve warm for best texture contrast. Can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
