Description

Warm and comforting pancakes bursting with the sweet flavor of apples and a hint of cinnamon, perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup chopped apples

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter until combined.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the chopped apple.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until browned on the other side.
  7. Serve warm, sprinkled with additional cinnamon if desired.

Notes

For a heartier breakfast, serve with crispy bacon or sausage on the side. You can customize with syrup, fruits, or nuts.
