Description

These apple pie stuffed cinnamon rolls combine warm spice, soft dough, and a sweet apple center for a cozy treat, topped with a rich caramel drizzle.


Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce for drizzling
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with butter or nonstick spray. Peel and dice apples into small pieces.
  2. In a bowl, combine diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and pecans (if using). Stir until coated.
  3. Roll out the cinnamon roll dough and flatten each piece. Spoon apple mixture evenly across the dough, roll tightly, and slice into rolls. Place in the baking dish.
  4. Bake for about 20–25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  5. Remove and cool for 5–10 minutes. Drizzle with caramel sauce and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
