Description
A creamy, tangy dip combining ripe avocados, feta cheese, and garlic, perfect for parties or casual snacking.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl. Mince the garlic and measure the lemon juice, olive oil, and feta.
- Mash the avocados with a fork until smooth or slightly chunky, depending on your texture preference. Add the crumbled feta, lemon juice, olive oil, and minced garlic to the bowl. Stir until well combined.
- No cooking is required for this recipe. Cover and chill for 15–30 minutes if a cooler dip is preferred. Alternatively, pulse in a food processor for a smoother, creamier texture.
- Season the dip with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve with pita chips, raw vegetables, or crusty bread.
Notes
Ideal for storing in an airtight container for up to 2 days. To prevent browning, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the dip before sealing.
