Description

A simple, cozy breakfast or snack that combines custardy cottage cheese, juicy berries, and a crunchy oat-nut topping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a small baking dish or two oven-safe bowls with the tablespoon of butter.
  2. Combine cottage cheese, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Stir until smooth and evenly sweetened.
  3. Gently fold in blueberries, ensuring they remain intact.
  4. Spread the mixture into the greased dish and sprinkle oats and nuts on top. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbling.

Notes

Serve warm with a drizzle of honey or Greek yogurt. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3–4 days.
