Description

These baked cheddar ham puffs are small, golden pockets filled with creamy cheese and salty ham, perfect for snacks or quick lunches.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly flour your work surface.
  2. In a bowl, combine diced ham, shredded cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, black pepper, garlic powder, and Dijon mustard. Stir until smooth and evenly combined.
  3. Roll out the thawed puff pastry and cut into squares (3–4 inches). Place a spoonful of the ham mixture in the center of each square. Fold and seal the edges.
  4. Brush each puff with beaten egg then place on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes until puffed and golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
