Ingredients
Scale
- 4 fish fillets (such as tilapia or cod)

- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon slices (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. Lightly season both sides with salt and pepper. Place the fillets in a single layer in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, and dried parsley. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the fish fillets.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 2 minutes. Spoon pan juices over each fillet, garnish with lemon slices, and serve warm.
Notes
Choose even-thickness fillets for even cooking. Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
