Description

A refreshing pasta salad that captures the iconic flavors of a Big Mac, featuring beef, lettuce, pickles, and Thousand Island dressing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (e.g., rotini or bowtie)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Begin by cooking the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside to cool.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked, draining any excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, browned beef, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, pickles, onions, and shredded cheese.
  4. Add the Thousand Island dressing to the bowl and mix until evenly coated.
  5. Season salad with salt and pepper to taste; adjust as needed.
  6. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For optimal freshness, add the dressing just before serving.
