Description

A delightful and quick Black Pepper Beef and Cabbage Stir-Fry packed with flavor and perfect for busy weeknights. This dish features tender beef, crisp cabbage, and a kick of black pepper.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 cups cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add minced garlic and ginger, stir-frying for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced bell pepper and shredded cabbage, stir-frying until the cabbage is wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Return the beef to the pan, add soy sauce and black pepper, and stir to combine.
  6. Drizzle sesame oil for added flavor and adjust salt to taste. Cook for an additional minute or until everything is heated through.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles for a complete meal.

Notes

Slice the beef thinly against the grain for tenderness. Use fresh vegetables for the best texture and taste.
