Description

Spicy, tangy, and crunchy buffalo cauliflower wings that make a perfect appetizer or a fun weeknight main dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Celery sticks for serving
  • Blue cheese dressing for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C). Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, water, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to form a smooth batter.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, shaking off excess, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes until the coating sets and starts to turn golden.
  5. Mix the buffalo sauce with melted butter in a bowl. Toss each floret in the sauce mixture until well coated.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until crispy and slightly caramelized.
  7. Serve hot with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.

Notes

For extra crispiness, consider adding panko to the batter or broiling for 1-2 minutes at the end. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
