Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened cream cheese, butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, then gradually add to the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the caramel sauce and chocolate chips until evenly dispersed.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space in between.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
