Description

Delightful cheesy snacks made with flaky puff pastry, perfect for parties or a fun treat at home.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: herbs (such as parsley or chives) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut out star shapes with a cookie cutter.
  3. Place half of the star shapes on a baking sheet and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  4. Cover with remaining pastry shapes, seal the edges, and brush with beaten egg.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes
