Description

A hearty, comforting dish combining juicy meatballs, zesty chili sauce, and gooey cheese for a burst of flavor.

Ingredients

  • Ground beef
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Egg
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chili sauce
  • Shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them in a baking dish.
  4. Pour the chili sauce over the meatballs and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving; optionally top with chopped jalapeños or diced onions.

Notes

For a lighter dish, use lean ground beef or swap with ground turkey. Experiment with different cheeses for added flavor.
