Description

A delightful holiday treat that blends sweet caramel with crunchy popcorn, nuts, and pretzels, perfect for festive gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 cups popped popcorn
  • 2 cups mixed nuts
  • 1 cup pretzels
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the popped popcorn, mixed nuts, pretzels, and candy corn.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Let bubble for 4-5 minutes without stirring, then remove from heat and mix in vanilla and baking soda.
  4. Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn mixture and stir well. Spread evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  5. Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. For a festive touch, package in mason jars tied with ribbons.
