- 8 cups popped popcorn
- 2 cups mixed nuts
- 1 cup pretzels
- 1 cup candy corn
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the popped popcorn, mixed nuts, pretzels, and candy corn.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Let bubble for 4-5 minutes without stirring, then remove from heat and mix in vanilla and baking soda.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn mixture and stir well. Spread evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
Notes
