Description
A simple and flavorful recipe for honey mustard chicken thighs that are juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
- Mix together the honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, and minced garlic in a bowl. Whisk until smooth and glossy.
- Coat the chicken thighs in the honey mustard mixture, ensuring they are fully covered. Place the chicken thighs in a single layer in a baking dish. Pour any remaining marinade over the top. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the top is golden brown.
- If you want a more caramelized top, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end while watching closely. Remove the dish from the oven. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.
Notes
Optional: For a thicker glaze, simmer the leftover marinade for 2–4 minutes until it reduces and thickens. Store leftover sauce and chicken together for consistent flavor.
