Description

A simple and flavorful recipe for honey mustard chicken thighs that are juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Mix together the honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, and minced garlic in a bowl. Whisk until smooth and glossy.
  3. Coat the chicken thighs in the honey mustard mixture, ensuring they are fully covered. Place the chicken thighs in a single layer in a baking dish. Pour any remaining marinade over the top. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the top is golden brown.
  4. If you want a more caramelized top, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end while watching closely. Remove the dish from the oven. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.

Notes

Optional: For a thicker glaze, simmer the leftover marinade for 2–4 minutes until it reduces and thickens. Store leftover sauce and chicken together for consistent flavor.
