Description

These chewy coconut bars are a simple and sweet treat with a chewy center and crisp top, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded coconut, condensed milk, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and graham cracker crumbs. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
  3. Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown and the edges are slightly darker.
  4. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before lifting them out. Once cool, cut into 12 bars and serve at room temperature or chilled.
