Description

A crisp slice of toast topped with creamy cottage cheese, ripe mashed avocado, and a sweet-spicy drizzle of hot honey.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of bread (your choice)
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Olive oil (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Toast the slices of bread to your desired crispiness. If your avocado is not soft, let it ripen at room temperature until it yields slightly to gentle pressure. Gather the cottage cheese, hot honey, olive oil, and seasonings.
  2. In a small bowl, mash the avocado with a fork. Season the mashed avocado with salt and pepper. Keep it slightly chunky for texture. Stir gently so it stays bright and green.
  3. Spread a generous layer of cottage cheese on each slice of toast. Top the cottage cheese with the mashed avocado, spreading it evenly. Drizzle hot honey over the top, letting it run into the cottage cheese and avocado.
  4. Optionally sprinkle red pepper flakes for extra heat. Drizzle a little olive oil over each toast for shine and a soft peppery note. Serve immediately.

Notes

Best eaten immediately to avoid sogginess. You can customize toppings to your taste.
