Description

A delightful festive appetizer combining creamy cheese with the crunch of nuts and chewiness of dried fruit, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup pistachios, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crackers or bread for serving

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese to form a creamy base.
  2. Add in the chopped cranberries, chopped pistachios, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until incorporated.
  3. Form the mixture into a log shape, wrap tightly in plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  4. Remove from the refrigerator, unwrap, and slice into rounds. Serve with crackers or bread.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Prepare up to two days in advance.
