Ingredients

- 8 oz pasta
- 2 sausages (Italian or your choice)
- 1 bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat. Add sausages and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove sausages and set aside.
- Add bell pepper, onion, and garlic to the skillet. Sauté until soft and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan, simmer for another 3-5 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- Add cooked pasta and sausages to skillet, toss to coat in sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Best served warm, can be paired with garlic bread or a fresh garden salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume within 3 days.
