- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, combine the heavy cream, chopped sun-dried tomatoes, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese to melt into the sauce. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
Notes
For extra richness, you can add a splash of white wine to the creamy mixture before cooking. Avoid opening the lid during cooking for perfectly moist chicken.
