Description

Comforting meatballs slow-cooked in a sweet and tangy cranberry chili sauce, perfect for gatherings or cozy dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in size, ensuring they are packed tightly.
  3. Place the meatballs in the crockpot, ensuring they are evenly spaced. In a separate bowl, mix together the cranberry sauce, chili sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour the mixture over the meatballs.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the meatballs are cooked through and tender.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute ground turkey or chicken. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
