A comforting, hearty meal combining ham, green beans, and potatoes, cooked in a slow cooker for incredible flavor.
Ingredients

- 1 ham (2-3 pounds)
- 4 cups green beans (fresh or frozen)
- 4 potatoes (cubed)
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 cups chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Place the ham bottom-side down in the crockpot.
- Add the chopped onion and cubed potatoes on top of the ham.
- Pour the chicken broth over everything, then add the green beans. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if desired.
- Cover the crockpot and set to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-6 hours, until the ham is heated through and the vegetables are tender.
Notes
For thicker broth, remove the lid in the last 30 minutes of cooking. You can also substitute the ham for a vegetarian option using vegetable broth.
