Description

A delightful and easy-to-make Croissant Breakfast Casserole that combines flaky croissants with eggs, cheese, and savory meats. Perfect for special occasions or lazy weekends!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 46 croissants, torn into pieces
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup cooked ham or sausage, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  3. Place the torn croissant pieces in a greased baking dish, then sprinkle the cooked ham or sausage and cheese over them.
  4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissants and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and the egg is set.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different cheeses or add vegetables for a vegetarian option. Stale croissants work wonderfully for this dish.
