- 1 pound sausage meat
- 1 package puff pastry
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into rectangles, about 4×6 inches. In a mixing bowl, combine the sausage meat with Dijon mustard, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Add fresh herbs if desired.
- Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture at one end of each pastry rectangle.
- Roll the pastry tightly around the filling, sealing the edges with a fork.
- Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm from the oven with dipping sauces.
