Description

A delightful twist on traditional lasagna crafted in a muffin tin for perfect single servings, these Easy Lasagna Cups are rich in flavor and fun to eat.


Ingredients

  • Lasagna noodles
  • Ground beef or sausage
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Marinara sauce
  • Egg
  • Italian seasoning
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then drain well.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef or sausage over medium heat until browned and drain excess fat.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. In a muffin tin, layer a piece of lasagna noodle, a spoonful of meat, a layer of ricotta mixture, marinara sauce, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Continue layering until each muffin cup is filled, aiming for about three layers.
  7. Top each cup with remaining marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before removing from muffin tin.

Notes

These cups can be served warm or at room temperature; store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
