Description

A delightful appetizer that combines fresh figs and creamy Brie cheese on crispy toasted bread.


Ingredients

  • Baguette or Crostini
  • Fresh figs
  • Brie cheese
  • Honey
  • Balsamic glaze
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch pieces and place them on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until lightly golden.
  3. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
  4. Spread a generous slice of Brie cheese on each crostini.
  5. Top each crostini with a slice of fresh fig.
  6. Drizzle honey and balsamic glaze over the fig and Brie.
  7. If desired, sprinkle with fresh thyme or rosemary.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container for up to one day. Re-toast for best results.
