Description
A delightful appetizer that combines fresh figs and creamy Brie cheese on crispy toasted bread.
Ingredients
- Baguette or Crostini
- Fresh figs
- Brie cheese
- Honey
- Balsamic glaze
- Fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch pieces and place them on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
- Spread a generous slice of Brie cheese on each crostini.
- Top each crostini with a slice of fresh fig.
- Drizzle honey and balsamic glaze over the fig and Brie.
- If desired, sprinkle with fresh thyme or rosemary.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container for up to one day. Re-toast for best results.
