Description

Delicious and easy apple fritters made in an air fryer for a healthier option without sacrificing flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup peeled and diced apples
  • Cooking spray
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and sugar.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk and the egg until thoroughly combined.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients, gently combining them until just mixed. Fold in the diced apples.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and spray the basket with cooking spray. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the basket and air fry for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
