Description

Delightful breakfast rolls that combine fluffy dough and warm cinnamon flavor, enhanced with Greek yogurt for tenderness.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
  • 12 tablespoons milk (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. Combine Greek yogurt, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar in a large bowl until well mixed.
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  4. Brush the dough with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
  5. Tightly roll the dough and slice into 1 to 1.5-inch rolls.
  6. Place the rolls in the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Mix powdered sugar and milk for icing until smooth.
  8. Drizzle icing over warm rolls before serving.

Notes

Best served warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
