Description

Deliciously spicy burgers featuring roasted green chiles and melted cheese, perfect for grilling.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 green chiles, roasted and chopped
  • 4 slices of cheese (cheddar or pepper jack)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and other desired toppings

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
  3. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and form into patties, making a slight indentation in the center.
  4. Cook patties on the grill for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, adding cheese in the last minute to melt.
  5. Toast the burger buns on the grill briefly.
  6. Assemble the burgers with cooked patties, roasted green chiles, and additional toppings.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, grill the chiles alongside the patties. Let patties rest after cooking for juicier burgers.
