Description

A delightful and visually stunning dish that combines the comforting flavors of garlic, cheese, and crusty bread, perfect for gatherings or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf of crusty bread
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the loaf of bread on a cutting board. Using a sharp knife, make deep cuts about 1 inch apart, but do not cut all the way through.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture generously over the bread.
  4. Stuff the cheese into the cuts of the bread, pushing it down as far as it will go.
  5. Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and place it in the oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven wrapped in foil at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
