Description

A delightful twist on traditional meatballs, these Healthy Apple Cider Turkey Meatballs combine savory turkey with the sweet flavors of apple cider, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped apple
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, apple cider, breadcrumbs, onion, chopped apple, egg, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and thyme.
  3. Mix all the ingredients well until combined. Scoop out a portion and form it into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
  5. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or alongside a fresh salad, rice, or pasta for a complete meal.

Notes

Avoid overmixing the mixture to keep meatballs soft. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
