Description

A quick, wholesome take on a fast-food favorite, combining warm whole wheat tortilla, tender shredded chicken, fresh vegetables, and a creamy Greek yogurt spread.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 whole wheat tortilla
  • 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt or healthy dressing
  • 1/4 cup black beans (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Warm the whole wheat tortilla in a skillet over low heat for about 30-60 seconds per side to make it flexible.
  2. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and black beans (if using). Season with salt and pepper, stirring gently.
  3. Spread the Greek yogurt or dressing evenly over the warmed tortilla. Spoon the chicken mixture into the center.
  4. Fold the bottom edge up, inward the sides, and roll tightly to close. Grill seam-side down in the skillet over medium-low heat for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.

Notes

Cut the wrap on the diagonal to showcase the filling. Serve with lime, salsa, or a small side salad for extra flavor.
