Description
A delicious and hearty dish combining creamy garlic flavors with cheesy chicken and potatoes, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 chicken breasts
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the diced potatoes to the skillet and cook until they start to soften, about 5-7 minutes. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet. Pour heavy cream over the chicken and potatoes, ensuring everything is well coated. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and potatoes are tender. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve it warm.
Notes
Mix different cheeses for added flavor. Substitute half of the heavy cream for a lighter dish. Add vegetables like broccoli or spinach for extra nutrition.
