Ingredients

- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar, corn syrup, water, and peppermint extract. Mix until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into small balls and flatten them into discs.
- Chill the discs on a tray lined with parchment paper until firm (15-20 minutes).
- Melt the chocolate chips and vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Dip each chilled peppermint patty into the melted chocolate and tap off excess.
- Return the patties to parchment paper and let them set until the chocolate hardens (10-15 minutes).
- Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
Notes
For a festive touch, sprinkle crushed candy canes on top after dipping in chocolate.
