Description

Warm, fudgy cookies with melty marshmallows, capturing the essence of hot chocolate in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. Measure and set out all ingredients so everything is ready.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips and mini marshmallows gently.
  8. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers still look slightly soft.
  10. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 3–5 minutes to set, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

For extra gooey marshmallows, press a few extra mini marshmallows onto the tops of warm cookies right after baking.
