Description

A delightful tart with warm Brie cheese and tart cranberry sauce, enveloped in flaky puff pastry, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 8 oz Brie cheese
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into a rectangle.
  3. Place the puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Cut the Brie cheese into slices and place it in the center of the pastry.
  5. Top the Brie generously with cranberry sauce.
  6. Fold the edges of the pastry over the filling to create a border.
  7. Brush the edges with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  9. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.
