Description

Playful and delicious jalapeno poppers wrapped in bacon and crescent roll dough, perfect for Halloween or any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 12 Jalapeno peppers
  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 12 slices Bacon
  • 1 can Crescent roll dough
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Wash and dry the jalapeno peppers. Slice them in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  3. Fill each jalapeno half with the cheesy mixture, stuffing them generously.
  4. Wrap each filled jalapeno with a slice of bacon. Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut it into thin strips. Wrap the dough strips around the jalapeno poppers.
  5. Place the wrapped jalapeno mummies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and the bacon is crispy.
  6. Allow them to cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Serve with ranch or sour cream for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
