- 2 steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or your choice)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
- Add the minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, stir to combine, and add Dijon mustard.
- Let the sauce simmer until it thickens slightly.
- Slice the rested steaks and serve them with the creamy garlic sauce drizzled on top, garnished with fresh parsley.
