- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups cauliflower florets
- 1 pound beef sausage, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and brown the sliced beef sausage for 6–8 minutes.
- Steam broccoli and cauliflower for 4–6 minutes until tender.
- Combine sausage, vegetables, and cream mixture in a bowl.
- Transfer to the baking dish, top with cheddar and Parmesan, and bake for 25–30 minutes.
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a lighter topping, switch half the cheddar to mozzarella. Let casserole rest before serving for better texture.
