A bright and flavorful dish featuring juicy chicken breasts cooked in a buttery lemon garlic sauce with tender green beans.

- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 2 cups green beans, trimmed
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 lemons, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper, dried thyme, and paprika. Pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature 165°F / 74°C). Remove the chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, then add the green beans and lemon juice. Cook until the green beans are tender, about 5–6 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter and green beans over the top. Warm for 1–2 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, finish with a small knob of cold butter off the heat.
