- 4 chicken breasts
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 lemons (juiced and zested)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, dried oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well mixed.
- Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish or resealable bag, then pour the marinade over them and coat thoroughly. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6–7 minutes on each side, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the chicken and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing against the grain into strips or cubes. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
For deeper flavor, marinate chicken for up to 2 hours. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes after cooking for maximum juiciness.
