- 2 Grilled chicken breasts
- 4 Bacon strips
- 2 Lettuce leaves
- 2 Tomato slices
- 2 slices Cheddar cheese
- 1 Avocado
- 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
- 4 slices Whole wheat bread
Instructions
- Cook the grilled chicken breast and bacon until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and the bacon is crispy. Let the chicken rest a few minutes, then slice it thin.
- Toast the whole wheat bread slices until golden and slightly crisp. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each toast while warm so it melts slightly.
- Layer lettuce, tomato slices, grilled chicken, bacon, cheddar cheese, and avocado on one slice of the toasted bread.
- Top with the other slice of bread. Press gently, cut the sandwich in half, and serve immediately.
Notes
Assemble sandwiches just before serving to keep the bread crispy. For meal prep, store components separately and assemble on the day of eating.
