Description

Tender, savory meatballs made from ground chicken, Parmesan, and garlic, simmered in marinara for a comforting dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly oil it. Mince the garlic and chop the parsley.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix gently until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  3. Form the mixture into evenly sized meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
  4. Heat the marinara sauce in a large skillet over medium heat. Transfer the baked meatballs to the skillet and simmer for a few minutes to combine flavors. Garnish with fresh basil and serve.

Notes

Use a light touch when mixing to keep meatballs tender. Optionally, add red pepper flakes to the sauce for a hint of heat.
