Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 200ml double cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. In a bowl, mix Dijon mustard and double cream together.
  5. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place in a baking dish.
  6. Pour the creamy Dijon mixture over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well-coated.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in mustard and cream for an hour before cooking.
