- 1 pound lump crab meat
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to break up the crab meat too much.
- Form the mixture into patties about 2 to 3 inches in diameter.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the crab cakes for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
Notes
Serve with tartar sauce or lemon. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
