Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream together the softened butter with granulated sugar and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract and the egg, mixing until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until a cohesive dough forms.
- Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Flatten each cookie ball lightly and top generously with colorful sprinkles.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden but centers remain soft.
- Allow to cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
