- 1 package frozen cheese ravioli
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce.
- Spoon half of the ricotta cheese over the ravioli and sprinkle with half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, marinara sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella.
- Sprinkle the top with grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
Notes
For added flavor, sauté garlic and onions with the marinara sauce. You can also customize the recipe with different cheeses or add sautéed vegetables.
