- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Fold in the dried cranberries and white chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely in the pan.
- For the frosting, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
- Once the bars have cooled, spread the frosting over the top, cut into squares, and serve.
Notes
These bars can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
