Description

Delightful Cranberry Bliss Bars with a rich buttery base, tangy cranberries, and creamy white chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Fold in the dried cranberries and white chocolate chips.
  5. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely in the pan.
  7. For the frosting, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
  8. Once the bars have cooled, spread the frosting over the top, cut into squares, and serve.

These bars can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
