A charming dessert that combines the tartness of cranberries with a custardy base, perfect for gatherings or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cranberries and sugar. Toss gently and spread evenly in the pie dish.
  3. Whisk together flour, milk, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter over the cranberries in the pie dish. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
